McDaniel Mountain Lions Girls Soccer 0-3 Lincoln

Lincoln handed McDaniel a 3-0 defeat Wednesday evening in a PIL (6A) girls soccer matchup played in Portland, Oregon, dropping the Eagles to 8-2 on the season and 1-1 in conference play. The loss snapped a strong early run for McDaniel, which had built an impressive 8-1 record heading into the road contest. Lincoln controlled the match from the opening half, finishing with three unanswered goals and keeping the Eagles off the board throughout. Playing away from home in a league setting added pressure, and Lincoln took full advantage of their home environment. The defeat serves as a useful measuring stick for McDaniel, showing where the team needs to sharpen up defensively as the PIL schedule intensifies. The Eagles still sit in a solid position overall and have plenty of season left to prove themselves in conference. McDaniel will look to respond quickly and get back on track in their next outing.
