West Linn Lions Football 42-14 Tualatin

The West Linn Lions delivered a dominant performance Friday night, rolling past Tualatin 42-14 in a statement win that left little doubt about which team controlled the field from start to finish. The Lions came out firing on all cylinders, building a lead early and never letting the Tualatin offense find any rhythm. It was the kind of complete team effort that coaches dream about, with the offense clicking, the defense suffocating, and the special teams holding their own throughout.

West Linn's offense was relentless, piling up points in bunches while the defense held Tualatin to just two scores. The Lions made it look almost effortless at times, and the margin could have been even wider if not for some conservative play-calling late in the game. Tualatin had no answers for a Lions squad that looked every bit like one of the top teams in the region.

With the convincing victory, the Lions improve to 4-1 on the season, a record that reflects a squad with legitimate playoff ambitions. West Linn fans have plenty to be excited about as the schedule gets tougher down the stretch, but after a performance like this, the Lions have earned the right to feel confident heading into the weeks ahead.
