Lincoln Cardinals Boys Soccer 1-1 McDaniel

A hard-fought road trip ended in a 1-1 draw Wednesday as Lincoln boys soccer faced McDaniel in Portland, Oregon, in Portland Interscholastic League (6A) play. Neither side could find a winner, leaving both teams to settle for a point on the afternoon. Lincoln, which entered the match riding a strong stretch of form, saw its overall record move to 5-1-3 on the season. The Cardinals showed resilience away from home, matching McDaniel throughout and finding the back of the net to keep pace. Earning a result on the road is never easy at this level, and keeping a clean sheet off the scoreline, even in a tie, speaks to the defensive commitment the group has shown this fall. With the bulk of the season still ahead, Lincoln will look to build on this steadiness and push for results when the schedule permits. The Cardinals return to action next week with an opportunity to add to their win column.
