Franklin Lightning Football 20-14 McNary

The Franklin Lightning held off a tough McNary squad Friday night, walking away with a hard-fought 20-14 victory that keeps their season rolling in the right direction. It was the kind of game that tests a team's grit, and the Lightning showed plenty of it when it mattered most.

McNary made things interesting and never made it easy, keeping the pressure on deep into the fourth quarter. But Franklin's defense held firm when the game was on the line, doing just enough to protect the lead and send the Lightning home with the W. The offense did its part too, putting up 20 points against a McNary defense that clearly came ready to play.

With the win, Franklin improves to 5-1 on the season, a strong mark that puts them in a great position as the schedule heats up. The Lightning faithful have plenty of reason to be excited about where this team is headed.
