Lake Oswego Lakers Girls Volleyball 2-0 Hillsboro

After dropping their first three matches to open the fall, the Lake Oswego girls volleyball team found the win column Saturday with a 2-0 sweep at Hillsboro in non-league action. The Lakers, based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and competing in the Three Rivers League (6A), controlled both sets on the road to move to 1-3 on the season. Playing away from home against a Hillsboro program that always brings energy in its gym, Lake Oswego came out with focus and consistency that had been elusive in the early weeks of the 2026 campaign. The sweep showed the Lakers can compete with poise under pressure, carrying a full two sets with minimal resistance. For a team still working through the early-season grind, Saturday's performance offered something to build on as Three Rivers League play approaches. Lake Oswego will look to carry this momentum into their next matchup and continue building the chemistry that made Saturday's road victory possible.
