Tualatin Timberwolves Softball 4-9 Lake Oswego

Lake Oswego's offense proved too much for Tualatin to handle in Monday's league softball matchup, as the visiting Lakers pulled away for a 9-4 victory at Tualatin High School.
The Timberwolves kept pace early but couldn't match Lake Oswego's sustained attack throughout the middle innings. Despite competitive at-bats and several scoring opportunities, Tualatin was unable to string together the clutch hits needed to stay within striking distance.
The loss drops Tualatin to 11-6 overall and 5-6 in conference play, putting additional pressure on the team's remaining league contests. With the spring season winding down, every game carries heightened importance for playoff positioning.
Tualatin's ability to generate four runs against a solid Lake Oswego pitching staff showed the offensive potential remains intact, but defensive execution and timely hitting will need to improve in upcoming games.
The Timberwolves will look to bounce back quickly as they continue their push toward the postseason in what promises to be a competitive final stretch of league play.
