Lakeridge Pacers Football 14-41 Lake Oswego

Lake Oswego handed Lakeridge a 41-14 football loss Friday night in Lake Oswego, Oregon, in a 6A-5 Three Rivers League matchup that wasn't close by the final whistle. The home side controlled the game from early on, building a lead that the Lakeridge offense could never seriously challenge. Lakeridge managed two scores but could not generate the consistency needed to keep pace with a Lake Oswego squad that looked sharp throughout. To avoid confusion, both schools share the Lakers nickname, but Friday night belonged entirely to the Lake Oswego side of that equation. The defeat drops Lakeridge to 5-4 overall and 2-3 in league play, a difficult position as the regular season winds down. With postseason positioning still in the picture, Lakeridge will need to regroup quickly and finish strong in its remaining games. How the team responds this week will say a great deal about its character heading into the final stretch.
