Lake Oswego Lakers Girls Soccer 2-1 Tualatin

A hard-fought 2-1 victory gave Lake Oswego girls soccer a much-needed boost Thursday evening, as the Lakers topped Tualatin on their home pitch in Lake Oswego, Oregon, in Three Rivers League (6A) play. The win moves Lake Oswego to 3-6-2 overall and 1-1 in conference, a meaningful step forward for a team that entered the night sitting at 2-6-2. Against a Tualatin side that pushed back until the final whistle, the Lakers found a way to hold on and secure all three points in a tight league contest. With limited margin for error the rest of the regular season, every conference win carries weight, and Thursday's result gives this group something to build on. The Lakers will look to carry the momentum forward and string together wins as they work to find their footing in the second half of league play.
