Lake Oswego Lakers Boys Soccer 0-0 Tualatin

A hard-fought Three Rivers League (6A) boys soccer match ended in a scoreless draw Thursday evening as Lake Oswego, out of Lake Oswego, Oregon, battled Tualatin to a 0-0 tie on the road. Neither side could find the back of the net, leaving both teams to split the league point in what shaped up to be a tight, defensive contest. The result moves the Lakers to 8-3-1 on the season and 1-1 in conference play. After a strong overall record entering the night, the tie represents a moment to regroup for a Lake Oswego squad still finding its footing in league competition. Road shutouts are never easy to manufacture, and holding Tualatin off the board shows the defensive unit continues to compete. The Lakers will look to build on this result and get back to winning ways in their next league outing, with the Three Rivers standings still very much within reach heading deeper into October.
