Lake Oswego Lakers Boys Soccer 5-0 Oregon City

Lake Oswego rolled to a dominant 5-0 boys soccer victory at Oregon City on Thursday, delivering one of the stronger performances of the Three Rivers League (6A) season for the Lakers from Lake Oswego, Oregon. The shutout win moved Lake Oswego to 9-3-1 overall and 2-1 in league play, a timely result as the conference race begins to take shape in mid-October. Playing away from home, the Lakers controlled the match from the opening whistle, building a commanding lead that Oregon City could never threaten. The five-goal output speaks to an offense finding its stride at exactly the right point in the season, while the clean sheet reflects a defense that continues to limit opponents. With league play heating up and the postseason on the horizon, Thursday's road performance gives Lake Oswego real momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season. The Lakers will look to build on this result when they return to action next week.
