Jesuit Crusaders Softball 2-3 Mountainside

Mountainside edged Jesuit 3-2 in a tightly contested softball matchup Thursday evening. The Crusaders from Beaverton, Oregon, who compete in the Metro League (6A), couldn't quite find the clutch hits needed in the road contest.
The one-run defeat dropped Jesuit to 14-10 overall while maintaining their strong 8-4 conference record. Despite the setback, the Crusaders remain well-positioned in Metro League standings with their solid divisional mark.
The back-and-forth affair showcased both teams' competitive spirit, with neither squad able to pull away decisively. Jesuit managed to plate two runs but fell just short of matching Mountainside's three-run output in what became a pitcher's duel.
With the spring season winding down, every game carries added significance as teams prepare for potential playoff positioning. The Crusaders will look to bounce back from this narrow defeat and use the experience gained from the competitive non-league contest to strengthen their preparation for upcoming Metro League challenges and postseason opportunities.
