Jesuit Crusaders Football 42-0 Beaverton

Jesuit's football team rolled into Beaverton, Oregon on Friday night and left no doubt, shutting out the host Beavers 42-0 to improve to 5-2 on the season. The lopsided victory on the road gives the Crusaders a perfect 3-0 record in league play, firmly establishing them as a serious contender in the conference race.

The shutout was the story of the night. Holding an opponent scoreless at any level of football is an accomplishment, and doing it on the road against a familiar rival makes it that much more meaningful. Jesuit controlled the game from wire to wire, building a commanding advantage that was never in question.

For a Crusaders squad that came into the week having already absorbed two losses, Friday's performance showed the kind of focus and execution that can carry a team deep into the postseason. With league play continuing, Jesuit will look to keep that conference slate clean and build momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
