Jesuit Crusaders Boys Soccer 3-2 McMinnville

A late-season non-league test ended in Jesuit's favor Saturday, as the Crusaders boys soccer team held off McMinnville 3-2 at home in Beaverton, Oregon, to improve to 15-1-1 on the year. The 6A-2 Metro League program entered the match with one of the strongest records in the Portland Metro area, and the narrow margin against McMinnville served as a reminder that no opponent comes easy this time of year. Jesuit had to work for all three goals against a Grizzlies side that refused to concede quietly, keeping the match tight until the final whistle. The victory adds another quality result to a resume that speaks for itself heading into the postseason. With the fall playoffs on the horizon, Saturday's performance, though not always clean, showed the Crusaders can grind out results when they need to. Jesuit will look to carry that resilience into the weeks ahead as the stakes continue to rise.
