David Douglas Scots Football 14-35 Hood River Valley

Hood River Valley handed David Douglas a 35-14 defeat in a league football game played Friday night at David Douglas High School in Portland, Oregon. The Scots fell behind and could not find enough offensive momentum to close the gap against a strong Hood River Valley squad. David Douglas scored twice on the evening, showing flashes of fight, but the Eagles controlled the contest throughout and pulled away for the convincing victory. The loss drops David Douglas to 1-7 overall and 1-2 in league play, a tough stretch for a program working to build consistency through a difficult schedule. With the regular season winding down, the Scots will look to finish strong and carry whatever lessons this game offers into their final outings. Friday nights remain an opportunity to compete and grow, and David Douglas will have a chance to respond when they return to the field next week.
