McMinnville Grizzlies Football 12-24 Century

Century handed McMinnville a 24-12 defeat in Pacific Conference (6A) football Friday night, as the Grizzlies dropped a road contest in Hillsboro that pushed their conference record to 0-2 on the season. McMinnville, Oregon's program now sits at 1-5 overall after the loss, continuing a difficult fall stretch for a squad still searching for its footing in league play. The Grizzlies managed to put 12 points on the board against the Jaguars, showing some offensive life, but Century's 24-point output proved too much to overcome on their home field. With the Pacific Conference schedule only growing more demanding, McMinnville will need to find consistency on both sides of the ball to remain competitive down the stretch. The Grizzlies return home next week looking to snap their conference skid and give their fans in McMinnville something to feel good about as the back half of the regular season gets underway.
