Grant Generals Girls Soccer 2-1 McDaniel

A hard-fought 2-1 victory over McDaniel kept Grant girls soccer undefeated Tuesday evening in Portland, Oregon, where the Generals continue to make noise in the Portland Interscholastic League (6A). Playing at home, Grant needed every bit of their resilience to hold off the rival Thunder and secure a result that matters deeply in the league standings. The win moves Grant to 9-0-2 on the season and a perfect 4-0 in conference play, reinforcing their position as one of the PIL's strongest sides this fall. McDaniel made it a battle until the final whistle, keeping the Generals honest and demonstrating why league matchups carry no easy nights. Grant's ability to grind out a one-goal decision against a determined opponent speaks to the squad's composure and collective focus. With the postseason approaching and an unbeaten record intact, the Generals will look to carry that momentum into their next league test and keep their conference lead secure.
