Grant Generals Girls Soccer 3-0 Roosevelt

Grant shut out Roosevelt 3-0 on the road Wednesday evening, continuing one of the most impressive starts in Portland Interscholastic League (6A) girls soccer this fall for a Portland, Oregon program. The Generals have now gone the entire season without a loss, improving to 8-0-2 overall and 3-0 in league play after the clean sheet at Roosevelt. The victory extended Grant's unbeaten streak to ten matches on the year, a run that has positioned the Generals near the top of the PIL standings heading into the meat of the conference schedule. Holding Roosevelt scoreless speaks to a defense that has been difficult to break down all season, and a three-goal output on the road is never something to take lightly. With league play now well underway, every result carries added weight as teams jockey for postseason positioning. Grant returns to action with a chance to keep pace at the top of the standings and push deeper into what is shaping up to be a memorable fall campaign.
