Grant Generals Boys Soccer 2-2 Cleveland

A hard-fought Tuesday evening ended level as Grant boys soccer and Cleveland played to a 2-2 tie in a 6A-1 Portland Interscholastic League match at Grant's home pitch in Portland, Oregon. The result moves the Generals to 10-3-1 on the season and 5-1 in conference play. Grant entered the night at 10-3, carrying strong momentum from a winning stretch, and the Generals showed resilience by sharing the points rather than dropping them against a Cleveland side capable of making things difficult. The 2-2 scoreline reflects how competitive the PIL can be on any given night, and holding ground in conference play remains valuable as the postseason window approaches. At 5-1 in league, Grant remains in a strong position in the standings despite leaving two potential points on the table. The Generals will look to bounce back with a win when they return to action later this week, aiming to protect their spot near the top of the PIL standings heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
