Glencoe Crimson Tide Girls Soccer 1-0 Century

A single goal was all it took Thursday night, as the Glencoe Crimson Tide girls soccer team held off Century 1-0 in a tight 6A-3 Pacific Conference home contest in Hillsboro, Oregon. The victory improves Glencoe to 6-5-3 overall and 3-1 in conference play, a meaningful step forward for a squad that entered the night sitting right at the playoff bubble. Facing a Century side that pushed them the full 80 minutes, the Crimson Tide showed the kind of defensive resolve that wins close games in October. Glencoe's back line held firm throughout, limiting the Jaguars to minimal threatening chances and protecting the one-goal cushion until the final whistle. It was the kind of workmanlike performance that does not always make highlights but earns points in the standings when they matter most. With the conference stretch run ahead, Glencoe will look to build on this momentum and make a strong push for a postseason spot in the coming weeks.
