Franklin Lightning Girls Volleyball 3-0 Beaverton

A clean sweep headlined Tuesday night's volleyball action, as Franklin defeated Beaverton three sets to none at home in Portland, Oregon, pushing the PIL (6A) Quakers to an 8-2 record on the young fall season. The non-league matchup gave Franklin a chance to measure itself against a program from outside the PIL, and the Quakers answered with a dominant, set-by-set performance that never allowed Beaverton a foothold in the match. Playing in front of their home crowd, the Quakers controlled the tempo throughout, finishing the sweep with the kind of consistent play that has defined much of their strong start to the season. The victory builds on what has already been a promising fall campaign, with Franklin now sitting two games above the .500 mark at eight wins. The Quakers will look to carry this momentum forward as PIL competition intensifies in the weeks ahead.
