Forest Grove Vikings Boys Soccer 1-2 Glencoe

Glencoe handed Forest Grove a 2-1 defeat in a 6A-3 Pacific Conference boys soccer match Tuesday night, with the Vikings traveling from Forest Grove, Oregon, to face the Crimson Tide on their home pitch. The loss drops Forest Grove to 4-6-3 overall and 1-2 in conference play, making the path to postseason contention noticeably steeper.

The Vikings found the back of the net once, showing they could generate some offensive pressure against a Glencoe side that ultimately proved more clinical on the night. The Crimson Tide converted twice, enough to secure all three points in front of their home crowd.

For Forest Grove, the focus now shifts to finding consistency on both sides of the ball over the final stretch of the regular season. With their conference record sitting at 1-2, the Vikings will need to string together wins to keep playoff hopes alive. Their next opportunity comes later this week, and the team will look to bounce back quickly.
