Estacada Rangers Girls Volleyball 3-1 Sandy

Estacada's girls volleyball team kicked off its 2026 season on a winning note, defeating Sandy 3-1 in a non-league home opener Monday evening in Estacada, Oregon. The Rangers, who compete in the Tri-Valley Conference (4A), wasted no time making a statement, taking three of four sets against the Pioneers to move to 1-0 on the young season.
With no previous match experience to lean on, Estacada came out composed and controlled through much of the evening, surrendering just one set before closing things out. That kind of resilience in a season opener speaks well of the program's preparation coming out of the preseason.
Sandy provided a legitimate early-season test, making the result more meaningful than a routine opener might suggest. Getting a four-set win against a neighboring opponent builds both confidence and chemistry at exactly the right time.
Estacada now turns its attention to upcoming Tri-Valley Conference play, where the Rangers will look to carry that momentum into the heart of their schedule.
