Estacada Rangers Football 54-42 Central

Fifty-four points were not easy to come by, but they were enough. Estacada's football team survived a shootout Friday night, defeating Central 54-42 in a 4A-SD2 Special District 2 league game played in Estacada, Oregon. The Rangers needed every one of those points as Central kept pace through much of the contest, turning the game into a back-and-forth scoring affair that kept the home sideline on edge well into the second half. Estacada ultimately proved it had enough firepower to pull away and secure the victory. The win pushes the Rangers to 7-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play, a strong position as the regular season winds toward its close. With playoff seeding implications coming into sharper focus over the next few weeks, Friday's result gives Estacada momentum and confidence heading into its final regular-season games. The Rangers will look to build on this performance and protect their standing in the district standings as league competition reaches its most critical stretch.
