Estacada Rangers Football 20-34 Cascade

Cascade handed Estacada a 34-20 defeat in Tri-Valley Conference (4A) football on Friday night, dropping the Rangers to 5-2 on the season in a road game at Cascade. The loss stings for Estacada, Oregon, which entered the night riding a strong 5-1 start and looking to build momentum in league play. Instead, Cascade proved to be a formidable challenge, pulling away for the 14-point victory and handing Estacada just its second loss of the year. The Rangers still managed to put 20 points on the board, showing they can compete offensively, but the defense had no answer for a Cascade offense that kept finding ways to extend the lead. Estacada now sits at 2-1 in Tri-Valley Conference play, keeping postseason hopes very much alive with several league games remaining. The Rangers will look to bounce back quickly and reassert themselves as a playoff contender when they return home next week.
