David Douglas Scots Boys Soccer 1-0 Barlow

A hard-fought 1-0 shutout victory over Barlow on Wednesday gave David Douglas boys soccer back-to-back wins in Mt. Hood Conference (6A) play, with the Scots picking up the result in front of their home crowd in Portland, Oregon. The lone goal proved to be all the Scots needed, as the defense held firm throughout to preserve the clean sheet against the Bruins. The win improves David Douglas to 3-6-1 overall on the season and a perfect 2-0 in conference play, a strong start to league action that signals this group is finding its footing at the right time. After a challenging stretch earlier in the year, the Scots have now won consecutive matches and are building momentum heading into the heart of the conference schedule. David Douglas will look to keep that league record intact when they return to action later this week.
