Columbia Christian Knights Boys Soccer 1-6 C.S. Lewis Acad.

C.S. Lewis Academy handed Columbia Christian a 6-1 defeat in boys soccer Tuesday evening, handing the Portland, Oregon-based Northwest League (2A) program its first loss of the young fall season. Playing at home to open the 2026 campaign, the Knights were unable to slow a C.S. Lewis offense that found the net six times in the non-league contest. Columbia Christian managed to get on the scoreboard with one goal, showing at least a glimpse of attacking intent, but the visitors controlled the match throughout and pulled away decisively. Lopsided results like this early in the season can sting, but they also provide valuable film and teaching moments for a coaching staff looking to build toward league play. The Knights drop to 0-1 on the season and will need to regroup quickly. Columbia Christian will look to bounce back in its next outing and begin finding the consistency needed to compete as Northwest League play approaches later this fall.
