Clackamas Cavaliers Girls Volleyball 3-0 David Douglas

A clean sweep Tuesday night lifted the Clackamas Cavaliers to a 3-0 girls volleyball victory over David Douglas, moving them back to the .500 mark in Mt. Hood Conference (6A) play. The match was played at home in Clackamas, Oregon, giving the Cavaliers a needed boost in front of their home crowd. Clackamas controlled all three sets against the Scots, never letting the match slip into a fourth-set situation. The win improves the Cavaliers to 6-11 overall and 5-5 in conference, a meaningful turnaround for a team that entered Tuesday sitting one game below even in league. With five conference matches now in the win column, Clackamas has positioned itself to finish the regular season on competitive terms. The Cavaliers will look to build on this momentum in their remaining league contests, knowing that each match from here carries weight in the final Mt. Hood Conference standings.
