Clackamas Cavaliers Football 28-21 Barlow

Clackamas football handed Barlow a 28-21 defeat Friday night at home in Clackamas, Oregon, keeping the Cavaliers competitive in the 6A-4 Mt. Hood Conference. The seven-point victory was hard-earned against a Barlow squad that refused to make it easy, with the Royals pulling within a score late before Clackamas held firm to seal the win. The result improves Clackamas to 3-5 overall and 2-1 in conference play, a meaningful turnaround for a team that entered Friday sitting at 2-5 on the season. Back-to-back conference wins would have seemed unlikely just a few weeks ago, but the Cavaliers are building something worth watching down the stretch. Barlow falls in a game that had postseason implications for both sides. With the regular season winding down, Clackamas will look to carry this momentum into next week and continue climbing the conference standings.
