Clackamas Cavaliers Boys Soccer 1-0 Barlow

A single goal was all Clackamas needed Tuesday, as the Cavaliers boys soccer team slipped past Barlow 1-0 in a Mt. Hood Conference (6A) road contest in Troutdale. The result snaps a difficult stretch for the Clackamas, Oregon program and gives the Cavaliers some much-needed momentum heading into the final weeks of the regular season. Clackamas improved to 4-6-1 overall and 1-2 in league play with the victory, a welcome boost for a squad that has been grinding through a tough schedule. Playing away from home, the Cavaliers kept things tight defensively and made the one opportunity they created count, leaving Barlow without an answer on the scoreboard. The clean sheet speaks to a defensive effort that gave Clackamas every chance to steal three points on the road. With league play still unfolding in the Mt. Hood Conference, the Cavaliers will look to build on this result and continue climbing in the standings as the postseason picture comes into focus.
