Central Catholic Rams Girls Soccer 7-0 David Douglas

Central Catholic made a statement Tuesday night, blanking David Douglas 7-0 in a Mt. Hood Conference (6A) girls soccer matchup played in Portland, Oregon. The convincing road victory pushes the Rams to 10-0-1 on the season and 4-0 in conference play, cementing their place atop the league standings as the postseason approaches. David Douglas had no answer for Central Catholic's attack, which found the net seven times and kept a clean sheet throughout the contest. For a team that entered the night unbeaten at 9-0-1, Tuesday's performance only reinforced why the Rams are considered one of the top programs in the 6A classification this fall. The margin of victory also bodes well for goal differential, which can matter when playoff seeding comes into focus. Central Catholic will look to carry this momentum forward as league play continues and the stakes grow higher with each passing week.
