Parkrose Broncos Boys Soccer 2-3 Centennial

Centennial came away with the victory Tuesday, edging Parkrose 3-2 in a boys soccer league match played in Portland, Oregon, as part of the 5A-1 Northwest Oregon Conference schedule. The Broncos fell just short on their home pitch, dropping a hard-fought contest that tightened things up in the standings. Parkrose twice found the back of the net but could not hold off the Centennial attack, which managed to put three past the Broncos for the deciding margin. It was the kind of game that could have gone either way deep into the final whistle. The loss moves Parkrose to 7-5-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play, still a competitive position as the postseason picture comes into focus. With only a handful of regular season matches remaining, the Broncos will need to regroup quickly and protect their spot in the league standings. Parkrose returns to action with a chance to bounce back and keep their playoff hopes firmly in play.
