Catlin Gabel Eagles Girls Volleyball 3-1 Westside Christian

Catlin Gabel's girls volleyball program kept its momentum rolling Friday night, defeating Westside Christian 3-1 in a non-league home match in Portland, Oregon. The Eagles, who compete in the 3A-1 Coastal Range League, improved to 18-2 on the season with the victory. Westside Christian took a set along the way, keeping things honest, but Catlin Gabel ultimately controlled the match and closed it out in four sets. The result adds another quality win to a resume that was already looking strong heading into the postseason. Entering Friday's match at 17-2, the Eagles have built one of the more impressive records in their classification this fall. With the regular season winding down, Friday's performance offered a useful tune-up against outside-league competition, giving the coaching staff a chance to evaluate depth and rotations under live game conditions. Catlin Gabel will turn its attention back to league play and postseason positioning as the calendar moves deeper into November.
