Catlin Gabel Eagles Girls Volleyball 3-0 Taft

Catlin Gabel's volleyball program started its 2026 season on the right foot Friday night, sweeping Taft 3-0 in a non-league road match. The Eagles, based in Portland, Oregon, and a member of the Lewis & Clark League (3A), traveled to face Taft in what served as an early-season measuring stick before league competition begins. It is worth noting that Taft plays in a separate classification and conference, making this a non-league tune-up for both programs. Catlin Gabel controlled the match from start to finish, winning all three sets to avoid dropping a set in their season debut. The three-set sweep gives the Eagles a clean opening statement heading into what figures to be a competitive Lewis & Clark League campaign. Catlin Gabel moves to 1-0 on the young season.
