Catlin Gabel Eagles Girls Soccer 5-1 Westside Christian

Catlin Gabel remained undefeated with a dominant 5-1 road victory over Westside Christian on Friday evening in girls soccer, continuing one of the most impressive runs in Portland, Oregon's 3A/2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 this fall. The Eagles made the trip to Westside Christian's home pitch and left no doubt, controlling the match from start to finish and pulling away for a comfortable four-goal margin. The win improves Catlin Gabel to 13-0 on the season and 4-0 in league play, keeping the Eagles firmly in the driver's seat in the Special District 1 standings. Without a detailed box score available, the final margin speaks clearly enough. A five-goal output on the road against a conference opponent reflects both the depth of Catlin Gabel's attack and the resilience of a squad that has not yet dropped a match all season. With the regular season winding down, the Eagles will look to carry this momentum into their final league contests and postseason play.
