Catlin Gabel Eagles Girls Soccer 7-0 Trout Lake

Catlin Gabel remained perfect on the season Thursday, rolling past Trout Lake 7-0 in a 3A/2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 girls soccer match played at home in Portland, Oregon. The Eagles controlled the contest from start to finish, turning in a dominant shutout performance that was never in doubt. With the victory, Catlin Gabel improves to 12-0 overall and 3-0 in league play, continuing to build one of the most compelling undefeated runs in the Portland Metro area this fall. The seven-goal margin speaks to the depth and attacking quality this squad has shown all season. Holding Trout Lake scoreless added another clean sheet to a defense that has been a consistent strength throughout the year. The Eagles have now won each of their first twelve matches, and the pressure and expectation that comes with that kind of record only grows. Catlin Gabel will look to carry this momentum forward as league play intensifies in the coming weeks.
