Putnam Kingsmen Boys Soccer 1-5 Corvallis

Corvallis handed Rex Putnam a 5-1 defeat in boys soccer on Tuesday evening at Rex Putnam High School in Milwaukie, Oregon, dropping the Pumas to 3-5 on the season. The non-league matchup brought a tough test for the Northwest Oregon Conference (5A) program, and Corvallis proved too strong, pulling away for a convincing four-goal margin. Rex Putnam did find the back of the net once, offering a bright spot in an otherwise difficult night, but the visitors controlled much of the action and made their opportunities count. The loss adds another challenge to a season the Pumas are working to turn around. With several games remaining on the schedule, Rex Putnam will have opportunities to build momentum and finish the fall on a stronger note. The Pumas return to action later this week, looking to respond and find some consistency heading into the final stretch of the 2026 season.
