Beaverton Beavers Softball 6-1 Central / Falls City
The Beavers made their first road trip of the season count, cruising to a 6-1 victory over Central/Falls City in non-league softball action Thursday afternoon. Beaverton controlled the game from early on, building a comfortable lead that allowed them to play with confidence throughout the contest. The offense showed good balance in putting six runs on the board against the Panthers, while the pitching staff limited Central/Falls City to just one run in what proved to be a dominant all-around performance. The victory moves Beaverton to 2-0 on the young spring season, giving head coach and her squad plenty of momentum as they continue to establish their identity. Playing away from home against an unfamiliar opponent, the Beavers demonstrated the kind of road toughness that will serve them well as the season progresses. With two quality wins already in the books, Beaverton has positioned itself nicely heading into the heart of the spring schedule. The team will look to keep the hot start rolling when they return to action next week.
