Beaverton Beavers Girls Soccer 3-1 Southridge

A road trip to Southridge paid off Monday night, as the Beaverton girls soccer team picked up a 3-1 victory to move to 5-7-1 on the season. The Beavers, representing Beaverton, Oregon in the 6A-2 Metro League, controlled enough of the match to pull away with a convincing three-goal performance against the Skyhawks. The win improves Beaverton to 2-2 in league play, a meaningful step forward for a squad that has been working to find consistency through a challenging schedule. Earning victories on the road is never easy in Metro League competition, and Monday's result gives the Beavers some needed confidence heading into the final stretch of the regular season. With the postseason picture beginning to take shape across the 6A landscape, Beaverton will look to build on this momentum and string together wins when they return home. The next match will be a key opportunity to keep that upward trend going.
