Beaverton Beavers Boys Soccer 2-1 Westview

A second-half finish sealed a 2-1 boys soccer victory for Beaverton over Westview on Thursday, keeping the Beavers rolling through Metro League (6A) play. The Beaverton, Oregon-based program made the trip to Westview and came away with three crucial league points in a tight contest that went down to the wire.

Beaverton controlled enough of the match to earn the result, finding the net twice against a Westview side that made things uncomfortable with a late goal. The Beavers' defense held firm when it mattered most, preserving a result that speaks well of this squad's composure on the road.

With the win, Beaverton improves to 8-1-2 overall and sits at 2-0 in Metro League play, positioning themselves as a serious contender in the conference standings. The Beavers entered the night at 7-1-2, and this road result adds another quality mark to an already strong resume.

Beaverton will look to keep the momentum going as league play intensifies in the coming weeks.
