Banks Braves Boys Soccer 1-0 Seaside

A single goal was all Banks needed Tuesday, as the Banks boys soccer team held off Seaside 1-0 in a Coastal Range League (3A) home match played in Banks, Oregon. The clean sheet gave Banks a hard-earned three points and moved the Beavers to 4-3-3 overall and 2-2 in conference play after entering the night at 3-3-3. With the season in a pivotal stretch, results like this one carry real weight in the standings. Holding a quality Seaside side scoreless speaks to the defensive commitment Banks showed throughout the contest. In a tight league race where every point matters, picking up a victory at home against a conference opponent is exactly the kind of result that can shift momentum heading into the final weeks of the regular season. Banks will look to build on this performance and stack consecutive wins as the Coastal Range League schedule continues to tighten up.
